Coloring a Gold Coin - Free Photoshop Tutorial and a Word Art Freebie Example using tutorial

Today I'm going to show you how to add a gold gradient appearance to my Gold Coin that's part of my Luck-of-the-Irish Bundle which can be purchased here: http://www.commercial-use.com/

At the end of this tutorial will be a link to download a Word Art Freebie which uses the gold coin used to make this tutorial.

First open the JC_ShamrockCoin2_Template

Go to the Layer named "Outer Circle" in the Layer's Pallet and do a Right Mouse Click over this layer. Go to Blending Options.

Go to the Gradient Overlay Tab and choose these settings:

Click on the lower part of the color bar. The little box will appear. You can then click on this. You'll notice the boxes in the bottom that are called "Color" and Location" are no longer greyed out. Click in the Locations box and Location #'s I have listed. Then double click on the Color box and enter the color Values I've listed,. You'll need to do this for each and every color and location I have listed. This is easier to do then it sounds... honest! :)
